Werchter cont'd...

We went for Saturday and Sunday and they were both pretty long days. Because the car was so far away you couldn't just go back whenever you wanted to rest but on Saturday we did go back and take a nap in the afternoon. It rained almost the whole day that day so we were wet and muddy and tired. But we saw MGMT, The Hives and Kings of Leon, and then after the nap Sigur Ros and Radiohead. The weather was much better on Sunday and we saw Panic at the Disco, Mark Ronson, The Raconteurs, Kaiser Chiefs, Justice, Underworld and a little bit of Deus.

We drank lots of small and expensive glasses of Stella and ate nothing but festival food for almost three days. And we took cold showers in our swimsuits using a bag of water hanging from the back of the van. But the sleeping was surprisingly comfortable and it was nice to wake up in the field with the birds and the river next to us.

We were pretty beat when we got home on Monday afternoon and didn't do much for the rest of the day.
